About the Event
Bring the kids for a free community art class, exploring the concept of neurographic art!
Students are encouraged to write an intention on the back of the page, then briefly scribble shapes and forms following that idea. Then, using marker, pencil, and watercolor, they will smooth the lines and fill in with color, creating a free-flowing piece. This technique allows for the artist to reconnect to the innate intuition all of us have, to teach us to trust and listen to ourselves. This art form is a wonderful technique to use when journaling, or to explore new ideas and concepts with struggling with a creative block!
This class is suggested for teenagers and older children, but kids of all ages are welcome! This class is free, but space is limited. We appreciate your RSVP, so that we can plan to have enough materials.
A parent or guardian must remain for the duration of the class.
